GB cyclists front #OneInAMillion campaign to improve ladies’ biking by 1 million by 2020

Laura Kenny, Lizzie Deignan, Sir Chris Hoy, Elinor Barker and Joanna Rowsell Shand are simply a several world and Olympic cycling champions to become listed on a bunch of ‘real females’ in supporting a campaign that is long-standing is designed to slim the vast sex biking space and obtain one million more females on bikes by 2020.

Our latest research reveals that two thirds of regular cyclist in Britain are guys (69%), when compared with nations like Denmark where male cyclists account fully for 47% and feminine cyclists 53%.

There’s also a vast disparity in self- confidence levels amongst men and women, with over six in ten ladies (64%) saying they don’t feel confident riding their bicycle in the roads (26% more than males) and an identical number claiming that infrastructure (63%) and motorist behavior (66%) will not cause them to feel safe (17% and 13% more than guys, correspondingly).
